The origin of the neon light

The invention of the electric light has achieved a great leap in human lighting, but people are not satisfied with this, and want to use it to decorate their lives, so the idea of developing neon lights was born. The French physicist George Claude has gone through a lot of After experimentation and continuous trial production, the principle of discharge was directly applied to gas, and the neon lamp was successfully invented in 1909. In 1901, the first batch of neon lights were installed in the Grand Palace in Paris, but unfortunately they could only emit red light. Despite this, the rude advertising agent von Seck still had a unique eye and realized that it was profitable, so he persuaded Claude to transfer the invention patent to him. Afterwards, Von Seck used this new thing creatively for advertising. In 1912, the first neon sign appeared on the Avenue Montmartre in Paris. In the distance, you can see the gleaming characters of Le palace coiffeur (barber hotel). This new form of advertising has attracted many visitors and customers to stop and admire. Slowly, the neon lights spread. Later, the neon lights have undergone continuous improvement, changing the color by replacing the gas or adding powder to the tube, which not only overcomes the single color defect of the early neon lights, but also creates a continuous flashing effect.
